Raw Press is on a mission to become the premier plant-based cafe brand as we grow from London to beyond! We specialise in açaí bowls, matcha lattes & innovative hot drinks, exciting smoothies, salads and raw vegan snacks. We also have a range of own-branded juices, cereals and kale chips.
Raw Press is London-based, having launched in summer 2014. It is currently located on Chelsea's Ellis Street, where you can enjoy delicious plant-based breakfast, lunch or dinner through to 7pm, as well as our signature cold-pressed juices and healthy snacks. We also have a number of new introductions for Spring 2023, including homemade porridge made with organic house almond milk, superseeds and maca; coconut “cream cheese” and carrot “lox” gluten-free bagels; a range of healthy muffins; and a build-your-own-bowl breakfast offering.
Our heritage is in our organic cold-pressed juices, but our offering has now expanded into a wide range of nutritionally considered and plant-based food and drink. Try our overnight-soaked green bircher matcha; our courgette lasagne made with cashew cheese; raw vegan wraps with homemade baked falafel; our famous “Notella” banana bread or our Cacao For Now açaí bowl with chocolate Grawnola, as well as much, much more!

SO WHAT THE BEETROOT IS COLD-PRESSED JUICE ANYWAY?
Cold-pressing is a juicing method that works without the use of a rotary blade centrifugal machine, which is currently the most prevalent commercial method used. The key difference between hydraulic pressed juice extraction and centrifugal juice extraction is in the lack of fast moving parts.
When the blades in a centrifugal juicer spin at up to 16,000RPM, as is the case in the majority of commercial kitchens, there is an abundance of heat produced by friction. The hot blades then contact the produce and can destroy sensitive enzymes, lowering the nutritional value of the juice and affecting the taste.
On the other hand, the hydraulic juice press we use at Raw Press works by slowly applying pressure until all of the juice is drained from the fruit and vegetables. We use the industry-leading juice presses, which first shred down the solid produce to a pulp, before pressing the pulp in the hydraulic press. The process is slow, natural and it is a method that results in minimal oxidisation, zero heat and the highest integrity.
The press does not force air into the juice during pressing, so the juice does not decay as fast as with other methods of juice extraction.
